The Mansion House is a popular tourist spot in Baguio City. It’s known for its rich history and beautiful architecture. The Mansion House was originally built in 1908 as the home of the American governor-general of the Philippines. It’s now open to the public as a museum and art gallery.

The Mansion House

The House is a beautiful example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. It’s made of red brick and has a red tile roof. Gardens and views of the city surround the Mansion House.

The Mansion House is now the official summer palace of the President of the Philippines. The Mansion is located in the country’s summer capital, Baguio, situated around 5,000 feet asl in the Cordillera Central Range of northern Luzon.

Description

The Mansion consists of an elegantly designed Spanish Colonial Revival main building and a guesthouse. The elaborate main gate, made of ornate ironwork, was once thought to be a replica of the main entrance of Buckingham Palace in London, but this is false. However, the front gate is still one of the most photographed sections of the complex. In addition, the public may visit the inside of the Mansion House, which contains a museum featuring presidential memorabilia.

Across the road from the Mansion House is Wright Park, a quiet promenade with a long reflecting pool lined with pine trees. A long stairway leads visitors to the back, where ponies for children are available for hire. Dotted all around the nearby hills are private holiday homes and small inns.
